In overview of Headway in the first 10 months of 2023, tuna export output reached 4,323 tons to countries around the world. Specifically, the US and U.A.E are the two leading markets with a dominant proportion of 25% and 16% compared to the remaining countries.

According to VASEP, until October 2023, tuna export value reached USD 693 million, down 22% over the same period last year. In October, tuna export reached USD 76 million, down 0.5%, showing positive signs of recovery after an initial decline.

Compared to the early period of 2023, Headway's tuna export output is on the rise again, especially from the second quarter of 2023. In particular, output in the second quarter reached 1,124 tons, in the third quarter reached 1,818 tons, growth points of 2.5 times and 3.9 times respectively compared to the first quarter of 2023.

According to updated report data, the US is still Headway's largest tuna export market, the second position is the U.A.E market. Each year, this market imports about 250,000 tons of seafood, demand is increasing, and is a market full of development potential for Vietnamese seafood products.
