Recently, Headway JSC assisted its customers in destroying a container of 40RH of frozen chicken feet imported from Japan to Vietnam. The problem arose as cnee notified that the shipper delivered the wrong cargo and refused to receive the same.

An agreement on delivery could not be reached between cnee and the shipper, causing the shipment to be stored, incurring high costs. Faced with this situation, Headway has proactively updated the process and advised customers on the necessary procedures and documents for settlement:

  • Search for new cnee: Contact partners and potential customers to change cnee information on the bill of lading (B/L)).
  • Returning cargo to Japan: Guide customers on detailed and complete customs procedures for returning cargo.
  • Destruction of cargo: Ensure the process of destroying cargo is safe and in accordance with current regulations.

In the end, the customer decided to choose the option of destroying the goods due to concerns about quality after a long period of storing the container. Headway has supported customers in processing shipments quickly, minimizing risks and additional costs.

Currently, imported chicken feet and chicken meat products are very popular in the Vietnamese market. However, during the transportation process, it is difficult to avoid problems arising. Headway is committed to closely monitoring schedules and consulting on the most optimal solutions, ensuring that customers' interests are fully protected.
